RTT isn't right for everyone — but for those who need it, it can be genuinely life-changing. Here are five clear signs that RTT might be exactly what you've been looking for.
Rapid Transformational Therapy isn't a magic wand — it's a powerful, evidence-informed approach that works best for specific kinds of struggles. If you're wondering whether it might be helpful for you, the following signs are a good indicator that RTT could produce significant, lasting change in your life.
The first sign is that you understand your problem but can't change it. You've been to therapy, read the books, done the work — and you understand where your anxiety, low confidence, or patterns of self-sabotage come from. But understanding hasn't made them go away. You know what's happening intellectually, but it doesn't seem to make a difference emotionally or behaviourally. This is one of the clearest signs that the issue lives at the subconscious level, which is precisely where RTT works.
The second sign is that you've tried multiple approaches without lasting success. Medication that helps temporarily. Mindfulness that works in the moment but doesn't shift the underlying pattern. Positive thinking that fades when life gets difficult. If you've tried a range of approaches and found yourself returning to the same place, it may be because none of them addressed the root cause. RTT goes to the origin of the belief and updates it — which is why the results tend to be lasting rather than temporary.
The third sign is that you can see a clear pattern in your life. The same type of relationship. The same self-sabotage at the same point. The same anxiety in the same kinds of situations. Patterns like these almost always have a root — a belief formed in the past that continues to create the same experience in different contexts. RTT is specifically designed to identify and transform these roots.
The fourth sign is that you feel stuck despite wanting to change. There's a part of you that genuinely wants to feel different, to act differently, to live differently — but something keeps pulling you back. This is often a subconscious protection mechanism: a part of your mind that learned at some point that the current way of being is safer than the alternative, and that is genuinely trying to protect you, even if the result is that you feel trapped. RTT helps to understand and update this protective mechanism.
The fifth sign is that you're ready to commit to the process. RTT is highly effective, but it requires active participation — both in the session itself and in the 30 days that follow, when you listen to your recording daily. If you're at a point where you're genuinely ready to invest in change and prepared to do the daily work, RTT is likely to deliver results that surprise you. The clients who get the most from it are those who arrive with openness, a genuine desire to change, and the willingness to follow through.
