This Privacy Policy explains how Sarah Elliston (“I”, “me” or “my”), Confidence & Self-Belief Specialist, RTT Practitioner and Certified Hypnotherapist, collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit this website or get in touch with me. I take your privacy seriously and only ever use your information to respond to you and provide my services.

1. Who is responsible for your data

I, Sarah Elliston, trading as “Sarah Elliston – Confidence & Self-Belief Specialist”, am the data controller for the personal data collected through this website. 2. What information I collect

I only collect information you choose to give me. That's:

• Contact form submissions— your name, email address, and the message you send me. You may also optionally give me your phone number and tell me which service you're interested in.
• Direct contact— if you email, call or message me on WhatsApp directly, I'll hold whatever information you share with me in that conversation.

This website does not use any tracking or analytics cookies, and I don't collect any information about you automatically simply by you browsing the site. See my Cookie Policy for full details on cookies.

3. How I use your information

I use the information you give me only to:

• Respond to your enquiry and answer your questions;
• Arrange and deliver a Discovery Consultation, RTT session, or coaching, if you go on to book with me;
• Keep the records I reasonably need to run my practice.

I do not use your information for marketing emails or newsletters unless you've specifically asked me to keep in touch, and I never sell or share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. My lawful basis for using your data

When you fill in my contact form, you are consenting to me using your details to reply to you. Where we go on to work together, I process your information because it's necessary to provide the service you've asked for, and because I have a legitimate interest in running my practice properly and keeping appropriate records.

5. Who I share your data with

Your contact form submission is sent by email using Resend, an email-delivery service, which processes the message purely to deliver it to my inbox. This website is hosted on Vercel. Neither service uses your information for their own purposes. I don't share your data with any other third party, and I don't transfer your data outside of the UK/EEA other than through the standard operation of these service providers.

6. How long I keep your information

I don't keep your personal data for longer than I reasonably need it for the purpose it was collected for — to respond to your enquiry, or for as long as we're working together plus whatever period I need to keep appropriate business records. If you'd like your information deleted sooner, just get in touch and I'll action that for you.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Ask me what personal data I hold about you, and get a copy of it;
• Ask me to correct anything that's inaccurate or incomplete;
• Ask me to delete your personal data;
• Ask me to restrict or object to how I use your data;
• Ask for your data to be moved to another organisation, where relevant;
• Withdraw your consent at any time, where I'm relying on consent.

You also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk, though I'd always welcome the chance to sort things out with you directly first.

8. Children's privacy

This website and my services are aimed at adults, and I don't knowingly collect personal data from children.

I may update this policy from time to time to keep it accurate. Any changes will be posted on this page.
